Arpita’s calling as a healer has been a lifelong journey of spiritual exploration and inward attunement. Born in Annapolis, Maryland, she spent much of her childhood visiting family in South India, where her maternal grandparents became her first spiritual teachers. Their guidance instilled in her a deep reverence for the sacredness of all beings and continues to inform the way she walks through the world.
After college, Arpita left the East Coast in search of adventure, a deeper relationship with nature, and a spiritually connected community. She found her home in Boulder, Colorado, and now resides just outside the city in the quiet village of Eldorado Springs, where she lives and practices surrounded by the grounding presence of the natural world.
Her dedication to conscious movement, deep stillness, and sacred connection between mind, body, and spirit inspired her to complete teacher trainings in Ashtanga Yoga, Inner Peace Yoga Therapy, Radiant Child Children’s Yoga, and Mindfulness for Schools programming. In 2022, she completed Julie Kramer’s three-year program in the Art and Practice of Essential Shamanism. Soon after, Arpita opened the doors to her private practice in Eldorado Springs, where she offers integrative spiritual healing rooted in shamanic medicine.
In January 2025, Arpita began pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at CU Denver. She is passionate about deepening her understanding of the Western mental health model while maintaining a spiritually informed lens. For over 25 years, Arpita has worked with young children and families as an educator and advocate at The I Have a Dream Foundation, Jarrow Montessori, Escuela Puerto Carrillo, Boulder County Human Services, and briefly with the Boulder Valley School District. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), holds an MA in International Education from the School for International Training (SIT), and is currently pursuing an MA in Clinical Mental Health at CU Denver.
Her vision is to create a sacred and welcoming space where transformational healing can unfold at each individual’s own pace. She holds space with grounded presence and respect for every unique healing journey. Arpita lives in a multi-generational home at the foothills of the magical Rocky Mountains on the South Boulder Creek.
